We at Green Land Convent School endeavour to inspire and empower our students to be life longlearners, critical thinkers and productive members of an ever changing global society'. The studentsare encouraged to channelize their potential in the pursuit of excellence in a holistic, studentcentred environment.
Children don't naturally know how to make good choices, Life skills help children know what to
do in everyday situations as well as how to make good decisions about more abstract long term
choices. If we work with a child to teach him/her Social Skills, we prepare the child to manage peerpressure and make good decisions as he/she grows into adulthood. Emotional skills help the childthrough the turbulence of adolescence and help him steer clear of irresponsible decisions
throughout his life. Encourage the child to stay organized with school work. Your child's time
management skills will be cardinal asset as he enters adulthood and the workforce. Set goals for
your child for long term savings. Allow him to make financial decisions.
I am confident that Green Land Convent School will always be beacon of light guiding the
destiny of its students while radiating kindness and compassion as it soars high in pursuit of
academic excellence and fulfillment of the school's motto 'Be Good, Do Good, Be One'.
I hope on the screen of life skills our students will have a glance of their strengths' weaknesses
and potential which can be channelized towards human perfection.
